Emotional Landscapes: Giving Form to What We Feel
In this workshop, we’ll immerse ourselves in the process of transforming invisible emotions—like passion, grief, hope, and inspiration—into powerful, vibrant paintings. Using the language of art, we’ll give shape and substance to what we feel but often can’t see or express.
You’ll discover how to use unconventional techniques and thoughtful color palettes to express your emotions through your paintings. As you experiment, we will explore how memories, dreams, and emotional states can weave into your paintings, adding rich layers of meaning and making your work deeply personal.
I’ll guide you through various exercises that will help you channel the abstract energy of your feelings, inviting you to tap into the subconscious and express your inner world in a way that feels authentic and raw. Whether you're working through grief, joy, or a sense of hope, we’ll explore ways to bring those emotions into your paintings in ways that feel unforced and meaningful.
I’ll encourage you to take risks with color and texture, playing with unexpected combinations to channel the energy that pulses beneath the surface. The goal is not just to create a representation of what you’re feeling, but to discover your unique style that blends the real with the imagined.
Join me to explore emotional landscapes and create dynamic, moving paintings that bring the unseen to life.
