Gabriela Sánchez Apodaca (Mexico City, 1972) is a visual artist specializing in encaustic and mixed media techniques. With a background in Textile Design and a master’s in Visual Communication, her work explores materiality, layering, and memory, often incorporating letters, documents, and family narratives into her pieces.
Since 2002, she has built a strong career with solo and group exhibitions, recognized for her technical expertise and ability to convey emotion through texture and form. Beyond her studio practice, she teaches workshops in Mexico and internationally, sharing her creative process and inspiring others to explore their artistic voice.
